The University began its existence in 1998 as an Institute, which was an affiliated Bangladesh Campus of Universities in the United States and the United Kingdom. November 26,2002 Service of training supported Southern College Bangladesh, under the Colleges demonstration of 1992 and 1998. On January 14, 2003, the University was officially opened and began its academic career. Afterward, Teacher Sarwar Jahan revamped the Establishment, in the illumination of the Confidential College Act 2010 and as trained by the Service of Schooling and the College Awards Commission, (UGC) of Bangladesh, the most noteworthy authorizing (controlling) expert on advanced education of the nation and framed the Southern College Bangladesh Trust (SUBT).
